Fantasy- Waiver Wire Empty
PostSubject: Fantasy- Waiver Wire   Fantasy- Waiver Wire EmptyWed Nov 18, 2009 8:37 pm

i know there's a lot of other services out there that have better insight than i do, but i'm not trying to "help" anyone persay.
these are just my thoughts, take them with a grain of salt...
  • marvin williams- popping up all over the wire. this guy takes a few months to get going, might be worth a gamble long-term
  • beno udrih- for some reason he's still available in some leagues. kev martin is out for the forseeable future. i say grab him. nobody should have a solid team from top to bottom where you can't cut a player
  • maggette- i hate nellie. but maggette has produced even with limited minutes
  • jj hickson- nice perfect game yesterday. will produce nicely as he is a better player than andersen varejao imo
  • mike miller- grab this guy. he does enough to warrant a spot on most teams
  • taj gibson- no one is really threatening his starting gig, except himself
  • dahntay jones- is a good 2nd or 3rd option guard, and he plays defense
  • tyler hansbrough- min should increase, ugly game yesterday but he'l get better
that's all for now.

  • dejuan blair- duncan needs to complete the 3-man injury puzzle down in san antonio before blair gets consistent minutes
  • al thornton- people gave up on him before the season started. he got help from blake griffin and eric gordon so he better not waste those minutes.
  • will bynum- good short term pick up
  • earl boykins- the 5'5" dynamo can be considered in deep leagues
  • carl landry- dem overachieving rockets should first string this guy

I like Miller, he does everything well. He should cut that nasty hair though. Ha

Your right on with what you wrote about these guys.

Maggette scares me, always injured it seems.

Was thinking about picking up Boykins in Champions League, but am going to just
sit on what I got.

I see DJ Augustin doing great things if given the time. But it looks like an injury
will have to take place with Felton.

Honestly, would you cut anyone from my team in your league, B? This is one tight team! OH, Hawes should get it goin soon I hope!

both your teams are actually pretty good, in the champions and in hawaiian hoops.
i am actually impressed.
your draft day for champions was really pretty good.

i drafted 3's and futures... banking on a few of my guys to produce when everyone else gives up on them.
haha the trade works in my favor and peja off the wire was a steal!

Thanks!

I made some changes in champons leagues last night and feel pretty good about it. The trade you made is a great one & yes, Peja with the firing of Scott is a very good pickup.

Martell Webster

he posted 21 and 13, but it was against the crappy twolves.
he scored 16 against the twolves 10 days earlier...
other than that he's posted some really crappy numbers.

i was tempted to add this guy, but he only does "good" against crappy teams.
i hope i dont miss out on a potential gem.
Suspect

I was thinking about snatching him up in Champions League since the Blazers are back to the non 3 guard lineup now. Blake is still getting 30 mins. Miller, IDK.
Webster is now starting, but after that big game against the Wolves he's only getting 21 mins. or so.

Rudy Fernandz or however you spell it is the next Manu, the guy is super athletic, exciting AND can put up some crazy numbers. Caoch Nate is crazy not to be playing him more!

Until Webster gets more mins & can put up numbers on a nightly basis I'm not going to pick him up. Same goes for Gomes, dude is too inconsistent. Was driving me nuts.
Good luck with that pickup B. Hha. king
