Is this a girl thing? I hate when guys do this:

Him: Hey, girl ! How's it going?
Me: Good, just busy with stuff ... how about u?

*no response*

Me: *waits*

*10 minutes later*

Him: I'm cool. Just busy with work, too! How's your cousin?

Me: Oh, blah blah blah ... and what about that thing u told me about last time?

*no response for about 30 minutes*

Continue cycle

Okay, SERIOUSLY -- why do people (usually GUYS) start a conversation when they are BUSY doing something else ? I find, with women, there is usually a beginning, middle, and an end to our text conversations. Guys--they say wassup, talk ...disappear.....come back ... disappear....come back, etc. As a result, a freakin' text conversation that could take 10 mins on the phone takes three hours via text?!?!?

Just a pet peeve of mine! Grrr!
